Meeting Information
The CNY Chapter, NRHS, Board of Directors meets on the first Wednesday
of each month at 7:30 p.m.
The general membership meeting is the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. except July & Aug.
Unless otherwise announced, all of the Chapter's meetings take place in the
DEC log cabin at the New York State Fairgrounds.
Al Gorney will present his program “Hot Chattanooga Convention," covering the NRHS Chattanooga convention and side trips to Nashville to get the Music City commuter trains and the Nashville and Eastern railroad.
Mike Flannery will present “Working On the Railroad In the 1940s,” showing three films by the New York Central and a three-part film by the New York, New Haven and Hartford. These black and white films cover the running and maintenance of the railroads, yards, signals and locomotives and include many steam locomotives, electric locomotives, freight yards, Grand Central Terminal and New York Harbor car floats.
